Social Media Management

Social Media Management delivers managed posting across Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and Pinterest. The team creates and schedules content, can create or connect profiles, and boosts Facebook posts. For the team to post and boost on your behalf, you’ll need to grant Facebook Business Page access.

The onboarding process

The onboarding process is designed to give the service team a clear understanding of your brand, goals, and expectations to ensure the content aligns with your vision.

Step 1: Forms and preparation

The process begins once you complete the Fulfillment Form. It is crucial to provide as much detail as possible. It is also recommended to complete the Social Posting Questionnaire before your onboarding call. You can upload brand assets and other documents directly in the Fulfillment Form or send them via email.

Step 2: The optional onboarding call

After you submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to book your onboarding call. During the call, a specialist will discuss your form details, complete the questionnaire with you (if needed), and review your business's existing web presence.

To prepare for this call, you should have the following ready:

  • Brand assets like your logo, brand colors, and fonts.
  • Social media login credentials.
  • Direct access to your Facebook Business Manager for post boosting.
  • Ideas for blog topics and examples of social media content you like.

Step 3: Social media profile setup

The service can create profiles for you on Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. To do this, the team will need your exact business name and address, access to an email account, and your personal login credentials for Facebook and LinkedIn, which are required to build business profiles.

  • Optional monthly check-ins: You can book optional monthly meetings for feedback or to address urgent updates.

The content delivery and review process

The content creation and review process follows a clear monthly cycle.

  1. First content calendar: Within 5 business days of your onboarding call, you will receive your first month's social calendar and blog (if applicable) via email.
  2. Ongoing calendar delivery: For subsequent months, you can expect the content calendar to be delivered via email by the 25th of the current month for the following month's posts.
  3. Content submission deadline: Any new content ideas or requests for the next month's calendar must be shared with the team before the 10th of the current month. If no new requests are received, the team will create content based on the established strategy.
  4. Review and revisions: You are asked to provide all revision requests in a single, consolidated round to ensure the calendar is delivered on time.
  5. Automatic publishing: Content is automatically published 5 business days after the calendar has been sent to you for review. This is to ensure your service continues without interruption. Be sure to submit edit requests in a timely manner.

Managing your content

You have full access to the scheduled content in the social media platform. You are welcome and encouraged to make quick tweaks or changes directly in the platform at any time.

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

What is the difference between the Standard and Plus service?

The Standard service creates and posts content to all requested platforms. The Plus service adds a strategic layer, including an initial proposal for the best posting times and platforms for your industry and optional quarterly performance reports with suggestions for improvement.

What platforms do you post to?

The service supports Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and Pinterest. We do not charge extra to post your content across multiple platforms.

Where will my blog be posted?

You own the creative rights to your blog and can publish it wherever you want. If your site is hosted on WordPress Hosting, our team can post the blog to your site 3 business days after approval at no additional charge. Additional charges apply to post to WordPress sites not hosted on WordPress Hosting. We do not post to sites that are not built using WordPress or our Accelerated Templated Website.

What is Facebook post boosting?

Boosting increases a post's visibility to a broader audience. However, some business types may not be eligible for boosting due to Meta's advertising guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, businesses related to credit, employment, housing, insurance, and social or political issues. The service currently only offers boosting for Facebook posts.

How do you choose which posts to boost?

A social media expert on our team will choose one Facebook post per month to boost. If you would like a specific post, such as a promotion, to be boosted instead, please let our team know.

Why is there a limit on revision requests?

We limit revisions to a single round to ensure efficiency and clarity, and to keep the content delivery on schedule. You are still able to make minor changes yourself directly in the platform after the calendar is scheduled.

Why do you automatically publish the calendar after 5 days?

Content is automatically published after 5 business days to ensure that you see results from the service and that your social media presence remains consistent, even if you are too busy to approve the calendar manually.

What is covered in the quarterly strategy calls (Plus Service)?

The quarterly calls review key metrics and post performance. We will gather your feedback and present an updated strategy deck that is customized for your brand, including keyword research, content pillars, and performance indicators (KPIs) we are tracking based on your goals.

How do I provide feedback on my content calendar?

You can provide feedback in two ways: through the platform where you review your calendar, or by sending an email. If using the platform, you must submit all of your comments in a single submission.

What happens if I don't provide feedback in time?

Posts are scheduled with a five-business-day review period. If no feedback is received during that time, the content will be published automatically as scheduled.

What are the most important things I can do for a successful outcome?

To ensure the best results, you should:

  • Connect all your social media accounts promptly when you sign up.
  • Fill out the onboarding questionnaire as completely as possible.
  • Provide any specific content or brand images you want to be used at the beginning of the process.
Can I post my own content in addition to the service?

Yes. You have full access to the social media platform to post your own content and edit any of the posts provided by the service.
