Listings, Claims, and Optimization
Overview
Business listings are how your business appears on directories like Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, and Bing Places. Accurate, claimed, and optimized listings improve search visibility and help customers find your contact information, hours, and location. Our team offers fully managed options for claiming, optimizing, and maintaining your business across the major directories.
What's Included
Three fully managed services help you claim, verify, and maintain your business on major directories:
- Listing Claim – Fully managed manual claim: one listing on one site (for example Google, Bing, Apple, Yelp, or industry sites), or a medical package with up to three medical-specific sites for one practitioner. Verification follows each site's rules (phone, email, postcard, and medical credentials where required).
- Google Business Profile Optimization – Fully managed, Google-only: claim and verification (can take two weeks or more), initial profile optimization (name, address, hours, photos, attributes), then monthly profile updates and one service-based post per month. Eligibility: in-person businesses (storefront or service area); not for rentals, lead-gen, or online-only businesses.
- Local Listings Management – Fully managed across Google, Apple Business Connect, and Bing Places: required onboarding call, verification per platform, monthly monitoring on all three, one GBP post per month (you provide content), unlimited product/service/photo uploads on GBP and Bing, and up to 3 months of retroactive review responses on Google.
These services handle the verification methods required by each platform and work to resolve issues (such as suspensions or ownership disputes) where possible.
FAQ
What’s the difference between GBP Optimization and Local Listings Management?
Google Business Profile Optimization is Google-only: claim, verify, initial optimization, then monthly profile updates and one post per month. Local Listings Management covers Google, Apple Business Connect, and Bing Places: required onboarding call, verification on each platform, monthly monitoring on all three, one GBP post (content from you), unlimited uploads on GBP and Bing, and up to 3 months of retroactive review responses on Google. See Google Business Profile Optimization and Local Listings Management.
How long does claiming and verification take?
GBP Optimization: Claim and verification can take two weeks or more depending on Google’s requirements; most new claims are under a week, but complex cases can take a month or longer. Local Listings Management: Process starts within 2 business days; onboarding call can be booked 3 business days after order; verification varies by platform and method (minutes to weeks). See the respective guides for details.
What if my listing is already claimed or gets suspended?
If a listing is already claimed by someone else, the team can request ownership and work with platform support to gain access (no guarantee). If your listing is suspended, the team will work with the platform to try to have it reinstated; platform decisions are final and transparency from them is limited. See Google Business Profile Optimization (suspensions, support tickets) and Local Listings Management (already claimed, suspensions).
What verification methods might be required?
Google may use video verification, phone call/text PIN, postcard to the business address, or email. Local Listings Management may use phone, SMS, email, video, or postcard depending on the platform. Methods are determined by the platform (e.g. business category, region); you may need more than one method. See Google Business Profile Optimization and Local Listings Management.
Is an onboarding call required?
Local Listings Management requires an onboarding call for all customers (bookable 3 business days after order); have business details, a utility bill or business license, and Apple ID (if using existing) ready. Google Business Profile Optimization does not require an onboarding call; the process starts from the fulfillment form. See Local Listings Management.
