Blog post service expectations
Our talented team of content writers develops creative, engaging 1,500-word blogs for your business. We offer both one-time and monthly blog solutions. We choose relevant topics to showcase your brand as an expert in your industry. This article covers what to expect from both options.
Client requirements
Order and fulfillment form
To ensure a smooth and efficient process, please fill out the order and fulfillment form with as much detail as possible. This streamlines the entire experience.
Timeline: We review the order and start the process within 2 business days.
If information is missing from the form, this will delay the overall process and delivery of the completed blog.
Onboarding call
After receiving your confirmation email, please schedule an optional onboarding call using the provided booking link. The call provides an overview of our service and addresses any questions about your order.
Timeline: This call can be booked with our team in as little as 1 business day, depending on client availability.
Prepare for the call with these details:
- Company's background
- Blog topic(s)
- Desired written tone (formal, informal)
- Target audience
- Competitors' blogs or websites
- Keywords (optional)
- Topics to avoid
- Images of your business
Topic submission
Our writers choose industry-relevant topics for you. If you prefer to choose your own topics, submit them to our team via email—prior to or during the onboarding call for one-time orders, or before the 10th of each month for monthly orders.
If no topic is provided, we will choose one based on industry trends unless otherwise specified. We start writing based on the topic information in the fulfillment form.
Drafting and revisions
If you have edits to make to the first draft, we revise up to 30% of the blog in one round for you. You may edit the document directly or describe the revisions in one email.
Revisions timeline:
- One-time: Send all edits within 2 business days for timely delivery.
- Monthly: Same—send edits in one round to keep delivery on schedule.
Delivery timeline:
- One-time: Content writers deliver your blog within 5 business days based on the fulfillment form. We complete revisions and deliver the final draft within 2 business days of receiving the request.
- Monthly: First blog within 5 business days; all subsequent monthly blogs on or before the 25th of the month. Revisions delivered within 2 business days of receiving the request.
Publication
You own the creative rights to your blog and can publish it wherever you want. If your site is hosted on WordPress Hosting, our team can post the blog to your site 3 business days after approval at no additional charge. Additional charges apply to post to WordPress sites not hosted on WordPress Hosting.
Your blog will not be posted to your site until it has been approved. We cannot post free of charge to sites we do not host. We do not post to sites that are not built using WordPress or our Accelerated Templated Website.
Process expectations
Onboarding call
The onboarding call is our chance to learn about your business, what you offer, and what written content we can create to engage your customers. It also helps you understand the full process and avoid surprises later.
Choosing your blog topic: You can choose your own blog topic or leave it to our professionals. If you choose a specific topic, submit it to our team—during the onboarding call for one-time orders, or before the 10th of each month for monthly orders.
SEO architecture and elements
- Geo-targeting: Strategic insertion of city/region keywords (4–5 times naturally) to boost local SEO rankings.
- Header hierarchy: Professional structure of titles and subheadings to help search engines understand and rank your content.
- Internal/external linking: Contextual links and authoritative external sources.
- Snippet optimization: Content formatted with bullet points, bolded lists, and direct answers for Featured Snippets.
Keyword strategy
- Primary keyword: The main high-volume search term (integrated into H1, intro, and conclusion).
- LSI (Latent Semantic) keywords: Exact phrases your customers type into Google, plus related topics that show search engines you are an authority in your field.
- Long-tail queries: Specific questions or phrases users type when close to a hiring decision.
Special features
- FAQ module: A section with 3–4 questions derived from real user search data. Answers are concise to target Google's PAA (People Also Ask) boxes.
- Metadata and assets table: Every blog comes with a pre-optimized Meta Title, Meta Description, URL Slug, and Alt Text ready for publishing.
- Visual strategy: Two high-quality, conceptually relevant stock images with SEO-optimized alt text.
Making revisions
Once the blog is created, it is sent via email for review. We revise up to 30% of the blog. You may edit the document directly or describe revisions in one email. We ask that you complete one major round of revisions, including your change requests, to keep delivery on time.
We recommend limiting the approval process to a single decision-maker so we can publish engaging content in a timely manner. If you need adjustments beyond 30% of the content, reach out to discuss options.
Setting your blog live
You own the creative rights and can publish anywhere. If your site is hosted on WordPress Hosting or you have our Accelerated Templated Website, we post the blog free of charge within 3 business days after approval. We do not post until the blog is approved.
Ongoing requests and support: You can provide additional feedback to our team via email at any time.
Monthly orders: next month
For monthly blog orders, our team creates a new blog each month—either with your topic or an industry-relevant topic chosen by our experts. Share topic requests before the 5th of the month for timely content. Blogs are written one month in advance to align with seasons or holidays. If no requests are received by this date, our writers create content based on industry trends. Content for the upcoming month is sent via email on or before the 25th of the month for review and edit requests.
Timeline summary
| Order type | First blog delivery | Subsequent delivery | Revisions |

If you order Blog Post: Monthly on Monday, April 19th, you receive your first blog on Monday, April 26th. Your next blog is delivered on or before May 25th.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Basic questions
Do you provide images?
Yes. Every blog includes two stock images used as the feature image for your site. If you want to use your own photos, provide them to our team in advance.
Do you offer blogs in languages other than English?
At this time, we only offer blog writing services in English.
Can I choose the blog topics?
Yes. Submit your topics in the fulfillment form or via email—prior to or during the onboarding call for one-time orders, or before the 10th of each month for monthly orders. If we do not receive a topic, our writers choose one based on current trends in your industry.
Do you have examples of blogs your team has done before?
Yes. Visit the examples site for a variety of examples.
Content and process
How can I be sure this blog will have the correct information?
Our content writers research your business and industry using your website and other reputable online sources. Each blog includes external hyperlinks to non-competitive sources where possible. The goal is to engage your audience, not only to sell.
Example: For a plumber, we might recommend content such as current bathroom design trends, safety tips for keeping water out of your basement during spring thaw, or fun facts about the history of plumbing.
If you have specific links or sources you want us to use, share them via email.
What kind of content should I avoid?
We avoid content that might cause readers to dislike your content, product, or service. We suggest avoiding:
- Political or religious posts
- Content that is inconsistent with branding
- Misleading posts or unattributed content
Where should I upload attachments for my order?
Upload all attachments in the attachments section of the Fulfillment Form. You can also contact the services team to submit attachments. This ensures our team can access all documents.
Timeline and length
What is the expected timeline of my blog?
One-time: Your blog is delivered within 5 business days of the order. You have 2 business days to request edits.
Monthly: The first blog is delivered within 5 business days. All subsequent blogs are delivered on or before the 25th of the month.
Can I request a blog longer than 1,500 words?
Industry standards recommend blogs no longer than 1,500 words. To improve your SEO, we do not provide blogs longer than 1,500 words.
Why is the 1,500-word length important?
Search engines prioritize "depth of coverage." A 1,500-word post allows us to cover a topic comprehensively, which helps establish your website as an authority. This length provides enough space to naturally include secondary keywords and answer multiple user questions, which keeps readers on your page longer.
Why is there a limit on the changes that can be requested?
We limit revisions to one round of edits for efficiency and clarity. Many decision-makers with different opinions can slow delivery. If you need adjustments beyond 30% of the content, reach out to discuss options.
SEO and technical
What do you do to improve my SEO?
Each blog includes SEO features such as city/region keywords, internal and external linking, headings formatted with long-tail keywords, an FAQ section for AI search, and more.
What is the purpose of optimized Meta Data and Alt Text?
Meta Data (titles and descriptions) acts as your digital storefront—it's what convinces people to click when they see you in search results. Alt Text does the same for your images, helping your blog appear in Google Image searches and ensuring your site remains accessible and professional.
What is "Geo-Targeting" and how does it help my business?
Geo-targeting is the process of strategically weaving your specific city and region into the content and headers. This signals to search engines exactly where you operate, making it more likely that you'll appear in map results when nearby customers search for your services.
How does backlinking help boost my blog's performance?
Our backlinking approach improves your website's authority and search rankings by building high-quality links from relevant, authoritative sites. These backlinks drive organic traffic, increase online visibility, and help you stay competitive. Search engines recognize your site as more credible, which can lead to higher rankings.
Do you use AI to write the blog posts?
We use advanced AI tools to help draft content, which allows us to structure high-quality SEO assets efficiently. Every post is then refined and polished by a Content Strategist. This hybrid approach combines AI speed with human expertise to create strategic 1,500-word content designed to perform well in local search results.
Publishing
Will you post the blog for me?
Yes. Once the blog has been approved, we post it to your site within 3 business days. You need WordPress Hosting activated or an Accelerated Templated Website, as we can only post to sites hosted by our team. If you do not have WordPress Hosting, you can post the blog yourself once it has been delivered.
Can you still post to my site if it's not hosted on WordPress Hosting?
Yes. We can post for a fee to sites hosted on WordPress or our Accelerated Templated Website through Duda. We recommend importing your WordPress site to our hosting service for free blog publishing and support. To post to a WordPress site we do not host, you need to activate the Custom Request add-on once the blog is approved.
We only post to WordPress and Duda-based sites. We cannot post to other website types. Login credentials are required for sites we do not host.
